Agreements/Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs)

On 16 January 2025, the Consul General of the Republic of Liberia to Dakhla and the Southern Region, including Laâyoune, Kingdom of Morocco, Mr. Johnnie F. Fallah, officially arrived to assume his post.

Mr. Fallah arrived as a member of Her Excellency Mme. Sara Beysolow Nyanti, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Liberia Delegation, for the Third Session of the Liberia-Morocco Joint Cooperation Commission.

Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow Nyanti and her Moroccan Counterpart, His Excellency Mr. Nasser Bourita, signed 15 landmark Agreements/Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) on behalf of their respective Countries on 17 January 2025

The event culminated with the issuance of a Joint Communiqué underscoring the commitment to further strengthen Liberia-Morocco diplomatic ties, particularly through economic partnerships and development cooperation.

In Her Excellency’s remarks, Liberia’s unwavering support for the Kingdom of Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara Region was reaffirmed. She noted that Mr. Johnnie F. Fallah’s appointment and presence in Morocco further demonstrate Liberia’s commitment to this position.
