Promotion of Economic | Business and Investment

Aligned with the Government of Liberia’s national development framework, the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID)-Agriculture, Roads, Rule of Law, Education, Sanitation, and Tourism, the Kingdom of Morocco remains a strategic and enduring partner. Strengthening this partnership, Her Excellency Madam Sara Beysolow Nyanti and His Excellency Mr. Nasser Bourita signed fifteen bilateral cooperation agreements in January 2025 in Laayoune, covering education, vocational training, industry, youth empowerment, mining, justice, and tourism.

The joint communiqué emphasized the promotion of trade and investment, economic partnership, and private-sector collaboration between both countries, with additional focus on agriculture, health, fertilizers, fisheries, tourism, maritime cooperation, and the expansion of the Morocco-Liberia scholarship program.

The Dakhla Mission is tasked with proactively pursuing and engaging these priority sectors to advance Liberia’s national agenda, fostering partnerships, facilitating investment, and promoting economic diplomacy to strengthen bilateral relations with Morocco.

Building on this solid foundation, Consul General Johnnie F. Fallah, in partnership with the President of the Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab Region, and in close collaboration with the African Chambers of Commerce and the Dakhla Chamber of Commerce, led a high-level Business and Investment Delegation to Monrovia in October 2025. The mission aimed to forge enduring partnerships, drive sustainable investment, and promote inclusive prosperity through deepened South–South collaboration
