Aligned with the Government of Liberia national development agenda ‘Agriculture, Road, Rule of Law, Education, Sanitation and Tourism’ (ARREST), the Kingdom of Morocco is a strategic and enduring partner. On 18 April 2024 in Rabat, Her Excellency Mme. Sara Beysolow Nyanti, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Liberia, and her Moroccan counterpart, His Excellency Mr. Nasser Bourita, signed a joint communique which captured several areas of mutual interests and potential areas of cooperation.
The joint communique highlighted the development of trade and investment promotion, economic partnership, and strengthening private partnerships between both countries. Other areas included agriculture, health, fertilizers, fisheries, investment, tourism, maritime cooperation, and an increase in the existing Morocco-Liberia scholarship scheme.
The Dakhla Mission is tasked with rigorously pursuing, scouting, and engaging different sectors in the attainment of these national critical priorities. This includes fostering partnerships, facilitating investments, and promoting economic diplomacy to strengthen bilateral relations between Liberia and Morocco.
