The Consulate General of the Republic of Liberia is pleased to announce a momentum in the growing collaboration between the Republic of Liberia and the Kingdom of Morocco in the area of children’s rights and advocacy.
In a series of fruitful working sessions, Liberia’s Minister of Gender, Children, and Social Protection, along with senior management of the Ministry, engaged with a high-level Moroccan delegation led by Madam Ghizlane Benjelloun, President of the National Observatory for Children’s Rights.
The two parties reached a mutual agreement to deepen bilateral cooperation aimed at promoting and protecting the rights of children in both countries.
A key highlight of this partnership is the commitment to strengthen ties between Morocco’s Children’s Parliament and Liberia’s National Children Representative Forum. This initiative seeks to create joint platforms that will amplify children’s voices in policy formulation and development processes.
Madam Benjelloun reaffirmed Morocco’s strong commitment to standing with Liberia in its efforts to ensure the full protection, welfare, and empowerment of children.
We celebrate this promising alliance and look forward to supporting impactful initiatives that uphold the rights, dignity, and well-being of every child.
